Daniel Radcliffe's Education Background

Daniel Radcliffe was born in Hammersmith, West London on July 23, 1989. He is the only child of Marcia Gresham and Alan Radcliffe. Radcliffe knew he wanted to become an actor when he was only five years old. EDUinReview would like to take a quick look at the education history of the man who would grow up to be Harry Potter.
Radcliffe made his acting debut at only 10-years old when he starred in the BBC’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield. In 2001, he made his theatrical debuts in two films: The Tailor of Panama and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. For most of us, the latter film is the one for which he is more well-known.
Radcliffe attended two independent schools for boys in London: Sussex House School and the City of London School. He made “A” grades in the three Advanced Level exams he took in 2006. However, since then, he has decided to take a break from education and pursue his acting career.
Radcliffe has starred in all of the Harry Potter films. He has been named Best Young Actor by the Broadcast Film Critics Association, won Best Kiss with Katie Leung at the MTV Movie Awards, and Iconic Movie Actor by J-14’s Teen Icon Awards.
In addition to acting in films, Radcliffe has taken a stab at stage acting. He is most famous for his portrayal of Alan Strang in Equus. He is also in talks to play J. Pierrepont Finch in the 2011 Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released in the U.S. on November 19, 2010.
