Romeo Miller, also known as Romeo or Lil’ Romeo, is an American actor, rapper, basketball player, and entertainer. He was born into the industry; his parents are Master P and Sonya C. His latest claim to fame will be appearing on next season’s Dancing with the Stars.
Romeo was born on August 19, 1989 in New Orleans, Louisiana. When he was five-years old, he wrote a rap and his father signed him to the No Limit recording company then. When he was 12, he released his first album, entitled “Lil’ Romeo.” His song, My Baby, peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200. In 2002, he released his second album, “Game Time,” and his third, called “Romeoland,” in 2004.

Romeo is talented academically and athletically as well. He attended Beverly Hills High School in California where he was a four year starter for the school’s basketball team. After high school, he was then awarded a full athletic scholarship from the University of Southern California to play basketball. He began playing in the 2008-2009 season but had a disappointing career. He only played a total of 19 minutes in nine games and scored five total points during his career.
Romeo’s next venture will be burning up the dance floor on season 12 of Dancing with the Stars.
